Central Organization of Trade Unions (COFTU) has resolved to forge a partnership with the Uganda Journalists Association (UJA) to deepen advocacy for worker’s interests.
This was during a fruitful engagement that was held between COFTU and UJA teams on Thursday 4 2024, in Kampala.
The COFTU team was led by Dr. Sam Lyomoki its Secretary General while the UJA team was represented by the Secretyary General Emmanuel Kirunda flanked by UJA Spokesperson Ronald Kabuye.
Our collaboration will go a long way in amplifying the worker’s interests including the economic rights for journalists as workers but also players from other professions and sectors.
